The SIZA TALKS 2026, titled 'International Conversations,' invite reflection on architecture as a space where geographies, cultures, and building practices converge. The global scope of Álvaro Siza's work serves as a starting point to understand how projects evolve when encountering diverse realities, and how this experience refreshes the view of more familiar places.
This edition continues previous cycles, fostering dialogue on contemporary architectural issues that find a sensitive expression in Siza's work, marked by his curiosity about the world. The program includes architects such as Nuno Melo Sousa, Mariana Simas, Campo Baeza, Elias and Yousef Anastas, Anouk Legendre, Tony Fretton, and Carlos Facio.
The event runs from November 12 to 14, 2026, at the Museum Auditorium. Daily access costs €5, with a 50% discount for Serralves Friends, students, and those over 65. The Siza Talks are organized by the Serralves Foundation in collaboration with the Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
