SINGSPIELE is a performance conceived by Maguy Marin, with David Mambouch as the interpreter. The work gives space and attention to faces, both anonymous and recognizable, exploring the stories these silent faces carry and what they communicate from their absent bodies. The performance delves into the concept of recognition, drawing inspiration from a text by Robert Antelme.
David Mambouch embodies a multitude of characters, transforming his appearance with various clothes and accessories at a calculated pace. He combines these new traits with gestures and attitudes that reveal new meanings and narratives, subverting associated codes and functions. The performance runs for approximately one hour.
Tickets are priced at €7.50 for individuals, with a reduced price of €3.75 for students, young people, those over 64, and Friends of Serralves. The performance takes place at the Auditório do Museu on November 22, 2026, with two showings at 16:00 and 19:00.
