The "CIÊNCIA EM FAMÍLIA | AS CORES SECRETAS DO OUTONO" workshop takes place on November 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM in Serralves Park. It is designed for families and children aged 5 and up.
The activity focuses on the transformations of nature during autumn. Families will discover the chemistry hidden in the leaves of the Park's trees through observation and a chromatography experiment. This exploration reveals the pigments responsible for the green, yellow, orange, and reddish colours that define the autumn landscape.
Tickets cost €12 for adults residing in Portugal and €15 for non-residents. Children up to 12 years old enter for free. Friends of Serralves, young people up to 18, and those over 65 receive a 50% discount. The meeting point is the outdoor ticket office, and the capacity is limited to 20 people.
