Seis Meses no Edifício Rosa e Azul, de Bruno Santamaría Razo

The film "Seis Meses no Edifício Rosa e Azul" by Bruno Santamaría Razo is presented as the closing night of the Queer Porto festival. The story is set in Mexico City in the early 90s, focusing on Bruno's 11th birthday when his feelings for his best friend, Vladimir, clash with the news of his father contracting HIV. The family copes with pain through singing and dancing, similar to salsa songs.

Thirty years later, Bruno films and re-imagines these childhood memories that he could not fully understand at the time. The film is shown in Spanish with subtitles available in English and Portuguese.

The screening takes place at Batalha Centro de Cinema, located at Praça da Batalha, 47, on November 7, 2026, starting at 9:30 PM. Tickets are priced between €3.75 and €5, and the event is restricted to ages 16 and above.
