This round table, titled "O QUE PODE UM MUSEU?", brings together four participants with backgrounds in research, artistic creation, and curatorship. The discussion will explore different perspectives on the relationships between performative practices, museum institutions, and exhibition spaces. It aims to reflect on the possibilities, challenges, and transformations that performance introduces in museums, affecting artistic practices and the interaction with works, spaces, and audiences.
The participants are Ana Bigotte Vieira, André e. Teodósio, André Guedes, and Paula Parente Pinto, with moderation by Rita Castro Neves. The event takes place on November 5, 2026, at 4:30 PM, in the Biblioteca at Serralves. Admission is free, and the discussion will be held in English.
