The play "O Barbeiro de Einstein" takes place at Teatro do Bolhão in Porto on November 14, 2026, starting at 11:00. The performance has a duration of 60 minutes and is suitable for audiences over 6 years old, with entry permitted for children aged 3 and above.
In the story, Herr Fritz begins his day in his barbershop with music. Albert Einstein arrives with his violin, agitated by a new theory, while Simpático Hermann brings his basket of tools. The narrative explores how words, sounds, and melodies help Einstein solve his questions, and how those around him also seek answers to their own enigmas in everyday moments.
Tickets for the show range from €5 to €10 for the stalls. The original idea, texts, and direction are by Mario João Alves, with performances by Mário João Alves as Einstein, Gabriel Neves dos Santos as Fritz, and Angela Alves as Simpático Hermann. The production is a creation and conception of Ópera Isto.
