The opera "La Voix Humaine" centers on the theme of loneliness and the lack of corporeal presence, conveyed through a telephone call. The narrative highlights the limitations of virtual communication and its impact on interpersonal relationships.
Filipa Portela leads the artistic direction and production, also performing the vocal role. Philippe Marques is on piano, with Zeca Iglésias handling light design and technical aspects, and Catarina Rodrigues providing subtitles.
The event takes place on November 18, 2026, at 21:00, at Teatro do Bolhão in Porto. Tickets are priced at €6 for the stalls, with group discounts available. The performance has a duration of 50 minutes and is recommended for ages 16 and above.
