The performance "May B" is a dance piece choreographed by Maguy Marin, featuring 10 interpreters from the Cia Maguy Marin. It is set to music by Franz Schubert, Gilles de Binche, and Gavin Bryars, with costumes by Louise Marin and lighting by Compagnie Maguy Marin. The duration of the show is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The work, created in 1981, is based on Samuel Beckett's oeuvre, focusing on the exploration of gesture rather than speech. It aims to uncover intimate, hidden gestures within seemingly ordinary lives, where waiting and immobility create a sense of emptiness and silence.
The event takes place at the Auditório do Museu on November 19, 2026, at 21:30. Tickets are priced at €12 for residents in Portugal and €15 for non-residents. There is a 50% discount for Friends of Serralves, young people up to 18 years old, and those over 65.
