Between Freedom and Violence – A Talk with ZABRA

This conversation, part of the 12th edition of 'Museu como Performance', features ZABRA – Centro de Investigação de Arte Pós-humana, Carincur, and João Pedro Fonseca. It is conceived as a space for parallel thought to the program's performances.
The discussion focuses on the body as a place of memory, resistance, and transformation, examining narratives held within bodies and the interplay between freedom and violence. It also considers the evolving definition of the body beyond the human, exploring hybrid bodies and interspecies relationships in the context of technology.
The event is held at the Serralves Museum Library on November 7, 2026, at 11:30. Access requires a Serralves ticket, priced at €15 for residents and €19 for non-residents between November 2 and 8. Tickets are available exclusively at the Museum Reception ticket office, with a 25% discount for purchasing tickets for both days and free entry for Friends of Serralves.
