The Matosinhos String Quartet (QCM) presents a classical music concert. The quartet was formed by the Matosinhos City Council through a public competition and has been a resident of the city since 2008, maintaining a regular concert season.
Recognized as ECHO Rising Stars in 2014/2015, the QCM completed a tour of 16 concerts in prominent European venues, including the Barbican in London and the Musikverein in Vienna. They also perform regularly in major Portuguese concert halls like Casa da Música and Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian.
Tickets are priced at €7.50 for general admission, with discounts available for seniors, students, groups, and people with disabilities. The concert takes place on November 27, 2026, at 21:30, at the Teatro Municipal Constantino Nery in Porto.
