Escuta Ativa com Tânia Dinis

The "Escuta Ativa" sessions invite personalities from different fields to share personal experiences and musical stories. Each guest selects a vinyl record from the Fonoteca Municipal do Porto (FMP) collection, providing a deep listening experience rather than just a conversation or simple record playback.

In November, the FMP hosts Tânia Dinis, a filmmaker and artist based in Porto. Dinis works across experimental and documentary cinema, incorporating archival images, family memory, performance, and relational aesthetics. Her work often focuses on stories of women and invisible labor contexts.

Her films have received national and international recognition, including "Tão pequeninas, tinham o ar de serem já crescidas," "Laura," and "Não são favas, são feijocas." Tânia Dinis also develops artistic creation and research projects and teaches cinema and theater at the university level. The event is free and starts at 11:00 on November 14, 2026.
