The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy is a 90-minute cocktail evening built around four of Poe's stories. Performers Fever calls 'Poe Historians' tell each tale on stage, and every story comes with its own signature cocktail. Mocktails are available if you ask at the venue.
The four pairings: 'The Tell-Tale Heart' with the Pale Blue Eye, 'The Black Cat' with The Cat's Meow, 'The Raven' with Nevermore, and 'The Masque of the Red Death' with the Cocktail of the Red Death. The room is dressed in a gothic style for the night.
It takes place at Hot Five Jazz&Blues Club, Rua de Guerra Junqueiro 495, on 12 December 2026, with sessions at 15:00, 17:30 and 20:00. Tickets from €27. Seats go to whoever arrives first, so get there a little early if you want a good spot.
