The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy is a 90-minute evening of theatre and cocktails. Performers called Poe Historians present four of Poe's stories on stage in a gothic setting.
Each story comes with its own signature cocktail: The Tell-Tale Heart with the Pale Blue Eye, The Black Cat with The Cat's Meow, The Raven with Nevermore, and The Masque of the Red Death with the Cocktail of the Red Death. You can ask for mocktails at the venue.
The event is at Hot Five Jazz&Blues Club, Rua de Guerra Junqueiro 495, on Saturday 7 November 2026, with sessions at 15:00 and 17:30. Seats are given out on arrival, first come first served. Tickets from €27.
