Dar corpo à sombra

Dar corpo à sombra is a visit-game activity inspired by the exhibition of Lourdes Castro at the Galeria Municipal de Matosinhos. It invites participants to explore how shadows, though intangible, can gain presence and tell stories through art. The activity focuses on the interplay of light, color, and form, discovering contours that expand, reduce, and transform.

Through layers, opacity, and transparencies, objects, bodies, and letters become material, creating new images and narratives. The activity is free and open to various age groups, including pre-school, basic, secondary, and higher education students, as well as adults and seniors. It runs from September 15, 2026, to November 13, 2026. The gallery hours are Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00.
