COMPETIÇÃO INTERNACIONAL #04 TO HOLD A MOUNTAIN

The event features a screening of "To Hold a Mountain," a film that follows Gara and her thirteen-year-old daughter, Nada. Every summer, they return to the ancestral pastures of Sinjajevina to care for livestock, make cheese, and harvest herbs.

The narrative focuses on Gara's leadership in a campaign to protect the mountain from a NATO-supported military training camp project. As Nada enters adolescence, the threat of returning violence brings up family memories.

The screening takes place on November 25, 2026, at 7:00 PM, at the Teatro Municipal Constantino Nery in Porto. The film has a duration of 105 minutes and is suitable for audiences over 12 years old. Admission is free.
