Bianca Dacosta – Partilha do processo de criação

Bianca Dacosta, an artist originally from Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, will host a public meeting to discuss her research and creative process. This event focuses on the artistic residency she completed at Casa da Música, in collaboration with O Instituto.

The discussion is part of the Floresta Amazónica – Girando Mundos festival and takes place on November 5, 2026, at 17:00, at O Instituto. It offers a look into the artist's studio, sharing the doubts, detours, discoveries, and gestures that shape her work. Her art spans film, photography, installation, and sculpture, using natural, scientific, and symbolic elements to explore themes of threatened nature, colonized lands, and organic forms.

This is an opportunity to listen, ask questions, and collectively imagine other possible worlds. Admission to the event is free.
