Navigating the Academic Procession
The Queima das Fitas' Cortejo Académico is a highlight of the year, but it significantly impacts city traffic. To best enjoy it, leave the car behind. Find a spot along the Rua dos Clérigos or Avenida dos Aliados early to get a great view of the floats. Embrace the chaos, enjoy the student chants, and be prepared for some street closures. It's a fantastic, free spectacle of Porto's vibrant academic culture!
