ET TOI MICHEL is the solo project of João Mota, a musician, actor, and composer from Setúbal. He is known for accompanying artists like Um Corpo Estranho and A Garota Não. His music combines Portuguese protest songs with contemporary folk, centered on his voice, guitar, and viola amarantina. The performance includes spoken word, reflecting on daily life and current trends.
This event offers a preview of tracks from his upcoming album, "Ainda além da traquitana," set for release later this year. This new work follows his debut album, "Perguntem aos Peixes," released in 2021. João Mota will be joined by Bernardo Pereira on bass and keyboards, Gonçalo Mota on drums, Pedro Freixo as sound technician, Charles Tourtoulu as light technician, and Leonardo Silva for video.
