Sob as Luas de Álamo

The show "Sob as Luas de Álamo" is a project by beOMNI Expression, featuring Joana Moreira and Miguel Maduro-Dias. It pays tribute to the Azorean writer Álamo Oliveira, who passed away in 2025.

The performance is not a biography, but a poetic exploration of Angra do Heroísmo, where the city becomes a central element. It uses Álamo Oliveira's poems, video, sound design, stage presence, and music to journey through his work. The focus is on his perspective on the art of being a poet and the significant places in Angra do Heroísmo that appear in his writing, including streets, buildings, memories, symbols, and emotional landscapes.

The event aims to re-listen to the author's work and revisit parts of Angra and images of the art of being a poet. It takes place on November 14, 2026, at 17:00, at Casa dos Açores do Norte, located at R. do Bonfim, 163. Admission is free.
