Regresso ao Barroco

The Casa da Música Baroque Orchestra and Remix Ensemble perform "Regresso ao Barroco" on November 10, 2026, at 19:30, in Sala Suggia. This concert presents a work inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini's text, which denounces a hypocritical and cruel society. It is the first time these two ensembles interpret the same score.

Hèctor Parra, Composer in Residence at Casa da Música, describes the score as one of his most intense compositional experiences. The program includes works by Pedro Jorge Avondano, Francesco Geminiani / Arcangelo Corelli, Sofia Avramidou, and Hèctor Parra. Laurence Cummings directs the harpsichord and musical direction, with Ustina Dubitsky also providing musical direction.

Tickets are priced between €22.00 and €26.00. Discounts are available for various groups, including Amigo card holders, young people, seniors, university students, and music teachers/students. The event is recommended for ages 6 and above.
