The "Once Upon a Time... The Smartest Giant in Town" event is a storytelling session in English, designed for children aged 6 to 10. It takes place at the Biblioteca Municipal Almeida Garrett on November 7, 2026, starting at 3:30 PM.
This initiative is a collaboration with the British Council in Porto, aiming to help children practice their English language skills in a fun way. The story featured is "The Smartest Giant in Town," which follows George, a friendly giant who decides it is time for a new wardrobe.
The event is free to attend and is part of a series of monthly storytelling sessions held throughout 2026 on the first Saturday of each month. It is located in the Jardins do Palácio de Cristal, on R. de Dom Manuel II.
