OLIVEIRA, LEITOR DE CAMILO

The Casa do Cinema Manoel de Oliveira presents "Oliveira, leitor de Camilo," a program of two film sessions and conversations. This cycle, conceived and moderated by Tânia Furtado Moreira, explores Manoel de Oliveira's unique connection to Camilo Castelo Branco and his literary works.

The event celebrates the bicentennial of Camilo Castelo Branco's birth. It will feature screenings of two films by Manoel de Oliveira: "O Dia do Desespero" (1992) and "Francisca" (1981).

The program runs from October 24 to November 28, 2026, at the Auditório da Casa do Cinema Manoel de Oliveira. Individual tickets are priced at 3€, with a reduced rate of 1.5€ for students, youth, seniors over 64, and Friends of Serralves.
