O Último Canto dos Pássaros

The event "O Último Canto dos Pássaros" is a concert taking place on November 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM in Sala 2 of Casa da Música in Porto. The artistic creation and interpretation are by Óscar Rodrigues, with Ema Ferreira, Tiago Oliveira, and Filipe Fernandes also interpreting, and Bianca Dacosta providing visual arts.

Inspired by the last recorded song of the Ka‘ūai ‘Ō‘ō bird in 1987, this concert offers a poetic reflection on the silence that follows loss. It incorporates real recordings of birds from around the world, electronic sounds, and visuals created by resident artist Bianca Dacosta.

The performance invites the audience to listen to the planet, serving as a sensitive appeal for the preservation of life and the Earth's sound memory. Tickets are priced at €9,00 and the event is suitable for families and the general public over 6 years old.
