Candlelight concerts are live performances held in a space lit by candles. This one is a tribute concert: a string quartet plays music by the film composer Hans Zimmer. It has no affiliation with the composer.
The planned programme includes Time from Inception, This Land from The Lion King, Cornfield Chase from Interstellar, and suites from Dune, Gladiator, Wonder Woman and Pirates of the Caribbean. The concert lasts 60 minutes.
The concert is at Hilton Porto Gaia on Sunday 8 November 2026 at 20:30. Doors open 30 minutes before the start, and you can't get in once they close. Seats are given out on arrival, first come first served, based on your ticket type. It's open to ages 8 and up, and under-16s must come with an adult. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Tickets from €16.50.
