Basel Abbas & Ruanne Abou-Rahme. Solo show

The Galeria Municipal do Porto presents a solo exhibition by Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme, curated by João Laia. The artists, based between Ramallah and New York, work with various media including images, objects, sound, and text to tell stories through multimedia installations and audiovisual performances.

Over nearly two decades, the duo has used Palestine as a starting point for their work. Their art reflects on current crises and disasters, and also projects possible scenarios for the near future.

The exhibition opens on November 21, 2026, at 17:00, and runs until February 21, 2027. The venue is located at Rua de D. Manuel II – Jardins do Palácio de Cristal, 4050–329 Porto.
