The play "Auto da Barca do Inferno" by Gil Vicente is presented at Teatro Nacional São João in Porto. The story follows a Fidalgo, a Usurer, a Fool, a Shoemaker, a Friar, a Procuress, a Judge, a Prosecutor, a Hanged Man, and four Knights as they arrive at a pier after death. They encounter an Angel and a Devil who will transport them to their final destination: Paradise or Hell.
This production is directed by Marta Pazos, who is also responsible for the dramaturgy and scenography. The artistic team includes Victor Hugo Pontes for choreography, F. Ribeiro for set design, Agustín Petronio for costumes, and Hugo Torres for musical composition and sound design. The cast features Ana Afonso Lourenço, Carla Bolito, Daniel Silva, Gaya de Medeiros, Guilherme Leal, Joana Carvalho, José Santos, Marco Olival, Patrícia Queirós, Pedro Almendra, Pedro Frias, and Tiago Araújo.
