The Tilsitt Gallery hosts "A Scenery of Time," a solo exhibition by South Korean artist Shim Moon Seup. Born in 1943 in Tongyeong, Shim Moon Seup is known as a pioneer of modern Korean sculpture. This exhibition marks his first individual show in Portugal.
The exhibition centers on Shim Moon Seup's painting series, "The Presentation." These works explore the connection between nature, time, and matter through compositions that suggest the movement of the sea and its ongoing cycles of transformation. The pieces move between abstraction and landscape, reflecting on memory, light, and the passage of time.
The exhibition runs from November 5 to December 18, 2026, at Tilsitt Gallery, located at Rua de Miguel Bombarda, 171. The opening is on November 5, from 18:00 to 20:00. Visiting hours are Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 19:00. Admission is free.
