💡 Tip of the Week
Local Insider

This weekend Porto has two major events happening simultaneously — Essência do Vinho and Fantasporto. The city will be noticeably livelier than usual, especially around Baixa and the waterfront. If you're going to the wine festival, book your session in advance — the Friday and Saturday evening slots always sell out by Thursday. And if you've never been to Fantasporto, even catching one screening is worth it: the Teatro Rivoli is one of the best cinema rooms in the country, and the atmosphere of a festival audience is different from a regular night out at the movies.
